There are a few minutes, my colleague Thomas showed us the latest quarterly results from Apple. The results were better than Apple expected, but a further decline in iPhone sales and a decrease of the turnover of the firm were however observed.

                                

However, Apple still had something to celebrate. Indeed, on Wednesday, the US giant has announced to its employees that it sold its billionth iPhone. This took place last week and for the occasion, CEO Tim Cook thanked all employees for helping the company "to change the world every day." "The iPhone has become one of the most important products [...] history. It has become a faithful companion. The iPhone is really an essential part of our daily lives and it allows a large part of what we do throughout the day, "said Tim Cook also to its employees.

Remember, the first iPhone model was launched in 2007, in the era of Steve Jobs. Today, mobile no longer apply to much. However, independent data indicated that some people still use it (but only for call).

Next year, Apple will celebrate 10 years of the iPhone and according to rumors, the Cupertino company intends to present something very innovative.
