Le gant Dexmo de Dexta Robotics.

The advent of virtual reality has never been closer. Followed with outputs of HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and soon the PlayStation VR, technology is becoming (almost) affordable and finally dares to open to the public.

The market is also as many players to try to stand out, pushing the notion of realism one step further.

New sensations :

Dexta présente une nouvelle version du Dexmo, les gants VR pour ressentir les objets - 2

And about that, we just had again demonstrated with the announcement of Dexmo, an exoskeleton glove that obviously would feel the caught objects in virtual reality programs. Developed by a company called Dexta Robotics, this relatively unique accessory in its current form and called by its creators "mechanical exoskeleton" could casually make a wind of revolution in a booming sector, even in times of stabilization.

A futuristic look assumed

Sporting a futuristic look voluntarily, the glove from your hand to graft could capture the full range of motion of your hand and offer on top of that an immediate return of strength, reinforcing a bit more immersion effect once the virtual reality helmet screwed on the skull. In summary, it would matter to feel the size, shape and stiffness of any crossover element in virtual reality sessions, and bear witness to their changes in real time. And by extension, to "touch the virtual" in a way perhaps more subtle than those currently available on the market. However, the product of Dexmo is not new. Launched on Kickstarter in 2014, it was canceled after yet raised more than 55,000 dollars. His company had at the time referred to the will of a "new start at a time most suitable." In 2016, then?
