YouTube could become a real social network, with statutes and photos

                 

YouTube would compete Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with Backstage.

Although most of its stars have remained faithful to YouTube, they use other social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to connect with their fans. However, we learn of the site Venturebeat today, Google Video platform would not longer be limited to video sharing, but becoming a social network in itself.

                             

Thus, according to the sources of the US site YouTube working on a project called Backstage, which will provide the platform functionality similar to that of conventional social networks, including Facebook.

YouTube would expect to launch Backstage before the end of the year, perhaps this fall. And in essence it will allow chains (initially the most influential time) published in other formats as video.

YouTube channels have the ability to post text, photos and surveys. These publications appear in reverse chronological order on the pages of channels as well as on the home screen of subscribers, on a sort of newsfeed. And as on other social networks, it will be possible to comment on these publications with text and other formats.

YouTube has always been a platform for video. To compete with Facebook, Google relied on its social network Google+, which has never really worked. Today, the Mountain View company seems to have abandoned the idea. And instead of relying on Google+, it will rather transform YouTube, already a popular service, in social network.

Anyway, if this information is accurate, Backstage will allow YouTube to have more commitment and make users stay longer on its platform.

Moreover, be aware that in June, YouTube has re imagined his live video functionality to look like a little more than Facebook. In May, it launched a messaging service and in April he muscled the recommendation engine of the Home screen.
