Galaxy S8 price: around 1,000 euros for the Samsung smartphone?

The Galaxy S8 could be marketed at more than 1000 € for its high-end version!

While the Galaxy S8 is waiting (it should only be released in April 2017), the rumors continue to circulate. A Korean site, ChoiceNews, has just revealed its price. And the least we can say is that the news that should not please fans of Samsung!

Galaxy S8: 20% more expensive than the S7?

The Galaxy S8 would be sold at about 900 euros for the cheapest version! That is an increase of more than 20% compared to the Galaxy S7 at its exit. The last model was sold at the price of 750 €. The most expensive version of the Galaxy S8 could, however, exceed 1000 €. A risk for the Korean firm that would see its flagship exceed the iPhone in terms of price, yet already deemed too expensive.

Galaxy S8: technical data at the level?

To justify such a price increase, the Galaxy S8 will have to release the big game on its technical sheet! For now, we're talking about a 6GB RAM, 256GB of storage, a dual photo sensor and an edge-to-edge display. The Galaxy S8 should be presented by Samsung at the Mobile World Congress in February in Barcelona.
